Product Data Analyst (m/f) 100%

Side of the group of PTSAD the role of the Product Data Analyst (PDA) plays a critical role in the master data management and maintenance part. The PDA is a member of the Product Supply Chain Team and interacts with Product Supply Chain Owner, Supply Planner, Demand Planner, Product Artworks Owner and Order Fulfillment Manager. The PDA has the end to end responsibility for the setup of global product master data and the corresponding supply chain setup in the different SAP ERP and SAP APO systems. For that the PDA interacts with all global and local material master data groups

Key responsibilities / tasks will include:

  • E2E responsibility for product master data for assigned product families and ensure implementation is completed on time

  • Monitoring of product master data creation, change and retirement progress

  • Active participation in the different product and project related working groups with an impact on Global Product Data Management

  • Maintenance of APO specific master data fields including product specific fields

  • Provide guidance and transparency to key customers and stakeholders

  • Perform product master data specific analysis

  • Drive data compliance to decisions and standards by auditing accuracy, readiness and completeness


Advanced tasks (scope extension after 1 year in the position):

  • Generation of KPIs and health indicators
  • Generation of team metrics and team reports on weekly/monthly basis 
  • Coordination of product master data for launch or divestment products
  • SAP ERP or APO Super User
  • Execution of periodic data audits and analysis with Data Content Owners

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or comparable degree is desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years business experience in supply chain or manufacturing – (preferred pharmaceutical industry)
  • MUST HAVE – advanced knowledge of SAP/R3 and SAP/APO applications
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel: Formulas/ Diagrams /Pivots) is mandatory
  • Ability to identify problems, define problem statement clearly and accurately and apply structured methodology to identify data-driven root causes
  • Self-motivated, proactive, well organized, flexible, customer-oriented team player with a high level of communication skills
  • Profound logistics knowledge is required (e.g. APICS certification)
  • Result driven with a flexible approach and able to navigate in a global environment
  • Fluent in oral and written English, German oral – other languages skills are a plus
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude - Perceives constant change and development as opportunity for the company, the process and him-/herself
